When we live in a wonderful time, when the society is open, there will be many people who will comment on every event, this is definitely a positive situation for the development of the society, because the indifferent and apathetic people are decreasing day by day.
To be honest, in my many years of life experience, I have never seen an election, including the Presidential election, that was full of such initiatives. See how each party candidate is addressing specific issues that are important to our society.
One such great initiative is the provision of free lunch to primary school students in grades 1-4. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the current president and presidential candidate from UzLiDeP, announced on September 22 at a meeting with voters in Bozatov district that 100 billion soums will be allocated annually for free lunches for students of grades 1-4 in Karakalpakstan.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev promised to introduce a free meal system for schoolchildren in other regions of Uzbekistan at the pre-election meeting held in Samarkand on September 24. “We will work out how to organize it in an outsourcing system, without corruption. Obviously, conditions are not the same everywhere. If a child gets sick at school, he leaves the class and rushes home. “A fat boy reads well,” he said.
True, this requires a lot of money from the state. According to “Gazeta.uz” calculations, free lunch for all 1st-4th grade schoolchildren in our country can amount to 1.74 trillion soums per year (163.8 million dollars according to the exchange rate of the Central Bank on September 23).
So is it more or less? It should be noted that, according to our calculations, these costs are only about 1% of the consolidated state budget, which clearly shows that our state budget will not decrease.
As they say, “Every head has a dream”, unfortunately, there are people who are against such good proposals, but as I said above, we must also understand correctly that pluralism is an important sign of a democratic open society.
In fact, the experience of providing school children with free meals by the state exists in socially developed countries such as Sweden and Finland. Therefore, if we make effective use of this experience, if we, under the care of our state, feed our young children with quality food on time, if we teach them a certain eating culture, they will be formed into healthy, intelligent, modern people in the future. increases. A society with consequences is a happy society. We believe that it is appropriate that we spared no money for this.
