Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE) continues to advance its infrastructure by establishing modern and specialized physical facilities aimed at supporting interdisciplinary research. The university has made significant investments in developing cutting-edge laboratories, innovation centers, and collaborative research spaces designed to address contemporary academic and economic challenges.
Specialized Laboratories
TSUE operates more than 15 specialized laboratories, including the Digital Economy Laboratory, which annually hosts around 50 interdisciplinary research projects. This lab focuses on key areas such as fintech, blockchain, digital business models, and e-commerce solutions. In 2023 alone, over 100 students and researchers successfully completed practical projects here.
IT and Artificial Intelligence Center
The IT and Artificial Intelligence Center is equipped with modern computing facilities and specialized software platforms. In 2024, the center facilitated over 40 projects involving machine learning, AI-driven data analytics, cybersecurity, and intelligent information systems. Approximately 120 researchers and graduate students actively collaborate here annually.
Innovation and Research Centers
TSUE has established 7 dedicated innovation and research centers that encourage interdisciplinary collaboration between business, economics, social sciences, and technology fields. In the past year, these centers supported over 100 research initiatives, resulting in approximately 35 practical applications and innovative products, several of which have been successfully implemented in cooperation with industrial and governmental partners.
Coworking and Collaborative Workspaces
The university’s coworking facilities accommodate more than 200 active participants each month. These spaces are specifically designed for interdisciplinary teams and host over 30 collaborative projects annually, providing an environment conducive to innovation, brainstorming, and joint research initiatives.
Seminar and Conference Facilities
TSUE also offers modern seminar halls and conference rooms capable of hosting large-scale scientific events, workshops, and training sessions. Each year, these venues facilitate more than 25 international and national events, attracting approximately 3,000 participants from various fields of research.
TSUE continues to expand and modernize its research infrastructure to sustain and enhance its strong position in interdisciplinary research, significantly contributing to the university’s international recognition and academic excellence.
