Only in the last 3 years, a new tax system was introduced, the number of taxes was significantly reduced, and the taxes on working capital were abolished, which pleased every entrepreneur and contributed to the significant development of their activities. In this process, the rate of value added tax was reduced from 20% to 15%, and the creation of a comprehensive system of this tax chain is being recognized with pleasure not only by experts, but also by entrepreneurs, which shows that the President pays special attention to entrepreneurs in our country.

The legal basis for the free activity of entrepreneurs will prove effective in the future and create thousands of new jobs. Another important step in this field was the adoption of 16 laws and more than 100 decisions on the initiative of the President to liberalize business activity. Over the past year, the procedure for issuing licenses and permits has been simplified. In addition, the terms of their issuance were shortened, and a moratorium was announced for any inspections in order to protect the rights of entrepreneurs.

Uzbekistan has risen from 141st place to 69th place in the World Bank’s international ranking of “Doing Business” due to the growing confidence in the vast opportunities created by the President for the business sector in a peaceful and peaceful country. In this regard, “Of course, this is a serious indicator, it does not satisfy us. Therefore, we will consistently continue our work in this direction, – said the President during the celebration of the 30th anniversary of our independence. – As you know, we recently held a meeting with entrepreneurs in a new format. More than 10,000 businessmen of our country took part in it. More than 15,000 proposals and initiatives were carefully studied as part of the preparation for the open dialogue, and practical measures were determined on the issues raised by entrepreneurs.

We will continue to create all the conditions for entrepreneurs to introduce real market relations in our national economy and develop our country on this basis. Why, the entrepreneur is the main support and locomotive of the economy and our reforms. No one should forget this fact.”

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan focused on the issues of education and youth, and emphasized the importance of educating our children as well-rounded people, for this, the fundamental improvement of the training of highly qualified pedagogues.

Today, our reforms and the demands of the times, besides, life itself, require rapid development of the field of higher education. The rate of enrollment of young graduates in higher education has increased from 9% in 2016 to 28%. In the future, this indicator is expected to reach 50-60 percent.

The high attention paid to the development of education by our state, the significant investments allocated are bearing fruit, and the national pride and patriotism of our youth are growing. All these works are carried out on the basis of the noble slogan “Let’s live freely and prosperously in the new Uzbekistan!”
