Many opinions and attitudes are expressed about the fundamental reforms of the last five years. One of them is the priority given to the elimination of the problem of poverty, which is a certain percentage of the population, and these efforts are not going in vain.
At first, it was not openly discussed, there was no clear solution to the problem. Today, the situation is completely different. The head of our state, while clearly stating this problem, is also showing its solutions.
According to the analysis, the most effective way out of poverty is the development of entrepreneurship and family business, the development of the manufacturing industry at the expense of large foreign investment and the creation of thousands of jobs.
In this regard, the great economic reforms and foreign cooperation carried out by our state, along with the establishment of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Alleviation in the executive power, are aimed at improving the standard of living and welfare of our people.
Recently, the 46th annual meeting of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) was held at the Tashkent International Congress Center under the theme “Recovery, Recovery, Restart”.
The conference was attended by more than 2,000 participants, including representatives of the governments of 57 member countries and various interested organizations. The goal is to make good use of the “0” interest loans of the Islamic Development Bank based on the religious tolerance of a large number of our population, especially the fact that most of them believe in Islam, to expand relations with foreign investors, thereby creating infrastructure and bringing the economic and social development of our people to a higher level. was an exit. We believe that we are firmly on the way to achieving such goals.
In this year’s conference, taking into account the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused the decline of the world economy, within the framework of the event, mechanisms for ensuring the popularity of vaccines in member countries and on a global scale, combating the negative consequences of the pandemic and stimulating the comprehensive recovery of economies, restoring sustainable value added chains, comprehensive development of youth initiatives , creation of sufficient jobs and a number of other issues were discussed.
On this day, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the conference organized within the framework of the visit of the President of the Islamic Development Bank to our country and gave a speech on new large-scale cooperation and economic results.
The head of our state spoke with pleasure about the signing of the agreement on the establishment of the Fund for the Expansion of Economic Opportunities within the framework of the conference, and said that through this fund, the capital of which is planned to increase to 500 million dollars, projects on poverty reduction and development of entrepreneurship will be implemented in our country.
